Copyright 2018Genre Picture bookThis was a story about how a dog and cat had to clean up their mess This was a really fun read for little kids I would allow students to read this just to have a good laugh This is appropriate for grades pre k 1st grade. This is telling kids to pick up because doing anything else with a mess shoving it in a corner or throwing it in the ocean isn t really cleaning it Which is a fine message, but I wasn t super intrigued by the presentation.I did dig random penguin. And found the illustrations charming. 3.5 Cute Animals need to clean up, but cat wants the problem to disappear on its own not going to happen I was hoping they d use the pieces to make something new, but in the end So MESSY I love it This is a ridiculously funny kids book that s all too relatable The humor is just right for a funny storytime. Saw it read to 2nd graders The illustrations are probably better designed for reading to someone in your lap or next to you The kids found it very funny, but too short. Cute story about messes and cleaning up Sweet pictures, very colorful I liked the illustrations and the giraffe penguin side interactions, but dialogue and overall story were blah. I love that this book about cleaning up is goofy, not preachy Lots of hilarious supporting characters, too
