I am a big fan of DR Grady's and this love story solidifies that fandom It is a charming love story with a hero and heroine you can't help but like The secondary love story is also very good The pocket pets which I won't tell you what they are are wonderful and add just the right awesomeness to the story If you are from a large family or have always wanted to be you will especially enjoy Morrison cast I would read the other books in the series to easily keep track of everyoneThe large amount of characters can be a bit of a problem to keep track of and there are some aspects of this book that could have been better but overall it is a fun readThe hero and heroines thoughts around cancer and dating while realistic were a bit one note and repetitive I didn't think there was any good reason for the heroine's adoptive parents to have been described as they were It added nothing to the plot and didn't seem to have influenced the heroine's character at all She wasn't in any way a nerd There are lots of fun surprises here so mostly it is just a pleasurable time in this community of family SEALS doctors nerd pets and friends Cute story Liked that we get to revisit Sam and that we can find out a little bit about General Emma Sooooo cute I love the simple and exciting beginning of the couple romance It’s a light and easy reading perfect for a Sunday afternoon
