WowThis book was so much than I bargained for Not your typical boy meets girl but a rollercoaster of emotions with a twist of family love I love to read about love and this book certainly did the job ❤️ The character were relatable and absolutely charming Just loved this all the way around I look forward to reading from this author I enjoyed this book very much It was uite different from what I expected but in a good way I have loved all of Kimberly's books that I have read so far You know that they will be a good clean read so no skipping half the book to miss any bad things It made me smile cry and really liked the characters Excellent story telling skills Must read I won this book in a GoodReads giveaway in exchange for an honest reviewAnd I am so so sorry This novel was tender and hopeful and emotional and sweetIt also justwasn't a great book The author chose to write it in third person omniscient which resulted in a lot of unannounced head hopping That coupled with a writing style I can only describe as being abrupt left me confused and disoriented for the first third of the book before my brain finally caught on to how to read it properly Most books I read are in first person or third person limited or have some kind of break in the text announcing scene transitions or POV changes This allows for a lot less confusion on the reader's part and even a healthy amount limitation on the writerThe fact that the narration informed me of all of a character's roles and ualities instead of letting me discover them through observation and character interaction resulted in a feeling of detachment; so that by the end of the book I could only keep track of a few characters' names and exactly what relationship they had with the protagonistwhich is a real shame because I loved what I saw of the family dynamic and really wished I could get to know these people as people rather than names and traits and emotional backstories The story telling rule show don't tell comes to mind hereThere were also some plot holes villains that were incredibly stupid not sure if that was intentional and some recurring phrases that could have been replaced such as the many people centering each other and taking in each other's scents There was also a lot of hugging So much hugging And let the record show that I am a very huggy personThis book wasn't terrible but it didn't really feel like a finished product to me More like a later draft Ultimately however my biggest complaint is with TylerLook I don't hate the guy I know that he means well But the man kept doing something that made me angry And just how does he look at me?Like you're hisNo Tyler Alexis is not yours Not until she decides she isIf a man loves a woman he will respect her verbally stated boundaries Kissing Alexis repeatedly despite her explicit wishes no matter WHAT your history together is or HOW she responds in the heat of the moment is not respecting those boundaries Alexis was trying to figure out her own heart and exciting her sexually against her conscious wishes does NOT help her do that; it only serves to cloud her judgment Such actions are emotionally manipulative and boarder on sexual harassmentIf I were in Lexi's shoes I would have gotten sick of his messing with my mind like that and put as much distance between us as I couldNow I know Tyler didn't mean any harm And I know that ultimately he's a good man But that doesn't make what he was doing okThat being said I did like the book's heart It had a lovely message loving characters TOO MANY FRIGGIN' HUGS and a hopeful look toward Eternity All very warm and nice If it weren't for the above problems I would probably have ended the book sobbing into my pillow I highly encourage the author if she reads this to keep at it Warm good lovely things are always worth writing about 3All that being said I cannot pretend that I loved this book It wasn't truly terrible either though so I won't be giving it a one star rating25 stars rounded up to 3 out of 5 This is one of those books that was such a pleasant surprise It had action romance the importance of family and a Christian twist that can be hard to find in a good romance The angel in the book made me uestion times I've lost loved ones and things I've experience through those losses It reassured me that what I thought had happened might not have been my imagination but rather someone caring for me from the other sideAs for the characters Tyler was probably my favorite He was successful yet down to earth in love with Lexi but willing to give her the time she needed and also in love with her daughter He was always a gentleman even when he wanted from her AlwaysI would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance and likes characters that are believable with all their human frailties Overall when I put this book down I felt good and isn't that how a good romance should make you feel? This was the first book I've read by this author but definitely won't be the last “God’s ways and timing is mysterious And there are endless possibilities when it comes to what His plans are between heaven and earth”Kimberly McKay’s novel ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES reads so much like a Hallmark movie that I wish someone would submit it to the producers I loved the tight knit family relationships in this story as well as Alexis’ plucky personality and Tyler’s steadfastness But my very favorite character was 7 year old Lani her joyful personality lifted the other characters’ spirits and she really jumped off the page for meIf you are a fan of paranormal inspirational romance with high stakes you will love this novel I was constantly surprised where the plot took me next While you’re at it you should check out Kimberly’s earlier novels as well With God there are always endless possibilitiesThe mysteries of grandmas remain in most of our memories My Grammy didn't tell me much but when I met her family I could surmise uite a lother love and my Grandad love remain today in my heart hopefully readers who had good grandparents can relate Absolutely Loved ItI couldn't put this story down it was so riveting and good I loved the interaction between Grams and the other characters Tyler was wonderful and so patient Loved how she finally found peace about Clay and was able to move forward Looking forward to Anderson's story DifferentThis book was different The story was fast paced At times I wanted to shake Alexis Tyler was inspiring and a good man I must admit the cover is what first caught my eye We see so many these days that are blurred out of focus and surprisingly has little to do with the storylines The choice of fonts and the clean beautifully designed cover was just a taste of what was yet to come I found the characters intriguing and well developed I love that McKay started the book in a kind of ‘ a child shall lead them ‘ manner I couldn’t help but think Lani and Evelyn were closer in Evelyn’s death than in life It was bitter sweet The book was well written and held my complete attention If you like books with clean romance mystery and tailspin’s that keep you guessing this is a read you won’t want to miss From page one you see G ds timing mercy forgiveness and grace and most importantly His love which transcends alleven string theory Can’t wait to get started on the next book
